South Africa’s IHG Tambo in Johannesburg located right in the heart of O.R Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park. This IHG Hotel location speak luxury from the moment you enter the property.  The luxurious tall windows and high ceilings showcase a Mountain View on one side and the park like structure of the International airport on the other.

We stayed at this location in 2008 and loved the proximity of the local things to see and do in Johannesburg, like the Apartheid museum, Emperors Palace Casino and a scenic drive around the Diamond Mines.

When staying in San Juan we chose the Holiday Inn Express San Juan Condado.

This was a great getaway 4-5 night stay and minimum packing.

Pack a memorable scent. This is something that I always do (be sure to pack a travel size) just to keep the memory alive long after returning from the trip.
