With podcasts at the top of the media charts we quickly found some of our favorites!

When I say we; I mean we, because podcasts are not just for adults they are amazing shows and talks just for kids, as well as adults.

This blog post was published to share the excitement surrounding the creation of podcasts geared for children and the apps that host them…such as the Wondery app

Did you know that there are over 2,000,000 podcasts and there is a top 25 list just for children?

We recently learned about the Wondery App which hosts a numerous amount of podcasts throughout multiple genres.  After navigating the app we found entertainment for children and have since been hooked. The latest podcast that has Bash so hooked is called The Adventures of Cairo ; which can be found on Wondery App .

There are currently 6 episodes available to date and Bash has listened to a couple on repeat.  There are times when he would prefer to put a pair of headphones on and listen to the episode alone.  The Adventures of Cairo includes fun characters that are so relatable to young children and especially young boys who find Cairo’s story with friend relatable.

I have listened to these episodes with my child and watched how a podcast episode can effect a dance session as well as a laugh out loud moment.  I especially enjoy podcasts geared toward children as a creator in the story telling world myself
