Its Magical in NYC during the Holidays!
We have scouted the city to bring you the top 5 things that we think you will love from now throughout the holidays and into Winter break!
Let’s start with the Museum of Broadway: It is located at 145 west 45 street in the heart of Broadway. It is an immersive exhibit of classical and current experiences taken from stages and brought to this awesome location. Walking through each stage literally brings you on set and into the feeling of being on Broadway. The founder of the experience; Julie Boardman, and founder of award-winning experiential agency Rubik Marketing, Diane Nicoletti did an incredible job at allowing us all have a moment behind the scenes of Broadway. Some of the most incredible pieces of Broadway, such as Porgy & Bess, Cabaret, West Side Story are within one space.
Our West Side Story Moment…….
Visit Santa Land at the infamous Macy’s on 34th Street
the one requirement is that you plan your day accordingly, because reservations are required.
Visit the closest light festival in the parks across NYC. We found the 2022 highly recommended Amaze Light Festival .
Number 4 on our list is the popular tradition of DYKER HEIGHTS lights. The infamous neighborhood in Brooklyn,NY puts on the annual light show covering blocks and blocks of beauty. The festive holiday lights are covered in and around beautiful homes decorated for visitors by the home owners. This neighborhood holiday festival has been a tradition for years. In the most recent years it has become a national location to visit when in NYC during the holidays.
Number 5 – last but not least is FAO Schwarz, and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. We love visiting the store and have become friends with the infamous Toy Soldier who happily greets every toy lover and brings holiday cheer to your visit. It would not be a complete visit to FAO without a photo in front of the beautifully lit Christmas Tree, just above the Ice Skating Rink.
