Moms this ones for you!
Have you ever been awakened out of sleep with the nightmare of having to go on a road trip alone with your children. Well I can attempt to put your mind at ease and give you the courage to try it after you read this.
Let’s begin with planning your road trips map along with how many stops you are willing to take ; all dependent on how far your trip will take you. For instance a 4 hour trip should call for (notice I said should) 2 stops the most. That is if you set the rule to only do potty and snacking on the gas breaks it will eliminate the sudden emergency.. this would also mean no drinking or heavy snacking while you’re driving.
Next, what about entertainment to keep everyone individually busy? Encourage homework that includes a subject your children are interested in along with a surprise goodie once it’s all done.
Last and most importantly is to keep your self in great spirits while driving because as distracting as the back seat drivers can be safety is always your number one priority then keeping everyone happy comes naturally.
First night in snack healthier and rest…
We’re sharing some of our happy road trip moments
P.S we’re letting dad join in on the fun on day 3
