New york in September means one thing in the pop culture world of fashion…. fashion week!

The entire month of September has become a spectacular celebration of what was once fashion week. There are shows across NYC from showrooms, runways even in the great outdoors during the amazing warmth of September. From the west side highway on the Piers to the infamous Spring Studios on Varick street you can find fashionable bloggers, models, photographers, elite designers, socialite and publishers across the streets of NY within this vicinity.

I attended the Essence Black Fashion awards show and showcase to mark the opening of Fashion week!

All of the women rewarded for their work in fashion graciously walked the black carpet in their own personal style. Each individual in attendance brought their own style A game on – and into this space filled with love and one of a kind expression of beauty.

Fashion week came to a perfect combination of young meets experience when V , K and I all attended the Spring Studio grounds for a fun day of fashion collaborating with KiPik.

The KidPik brand team worked together to create a street style photo shoot covering the fashion and style of 8 talented models.

The glam squad worked together at the kidpik showroom headquarters to prep all of the girls before hitting the fashion streets and greeted by paparazzi waiting to see with the younger generation of fashion has to offer.
