Choosing a safe and fun destination for your 2020 family vacation

Clearly, 2020 has pulled us all away from our regular routined schedule. We followed the rules and guided suggestions up until our much needed family vacation time came crashing in!

We took a trip! If you have been feeling anything like we were then we highly recommend discussing a location that you’ll love and feel comfortable visiting. This is how we felt about Lego Land

We hit the road and traveled from NYC to Florida. The trips itinerary included work stops for dad, mom and a splash of fun for the kiddos.

A little bit of work, a little bit of play and a lot of much needed family time away!

We all agreed that the best place to entertain our family was Lego Land! We were thrilled to find out that the much anticipated new Pirate Island hotel opened June 1st, 2020. The architectural details that brought lego land park and pirate together we’re amazing!

The kiddos listed the highlights of their stay at the NEW lego land hotel as well as the park experience, starting with the room decor.

-Lego building wall in the lobby of the hotel

Interactive play house with treasure chests and stages for pirate shows

– Family style dining in the shipwreck restaurant that included dessert every time!

The highlights for me as a parent were social distancing awareness through the hotel and park. The footprints are visibly imprinted into the floor.

We noticed the staff and attendees cleaning the rides after riders completed their ride. We also experienced everyone using safety measures with hand sanitizing and wearing face masks.

Upon entering the hotel you are greeted by an attendant who checks your temperature and points out the perfectly positioned self sanitizing stations.

The kiddos made use of every single sanitizing station.
