Business, Books, Branding and Behavior

This title is for all of the B2B to the B’s which is the conversation that we have at the Twindollicious & Co HQ quite often.

I recently attended the Sistas in Sales summit which was sponsored (highly ) by Walmart and their walmart connect initiative. A great friend in marketing shared the summit with me and I immediately felt the divine connection to attend.

This is your first prompt to pay attention to behavior. Remain friends with people that you connect with on every level! You are placed in each others lives for a reason.

My friend is actually head of marketing with many amazing brands such as Tia Mowry and her new brand 4U Hair Care by Tia.

The girls are loving the way the products make their hair set when either styled with a blow out, curly or wet. The natural ingredients leave their hair feeling light and without a heavy scent.

The conversations and initiatives surrounding DEI ( Diversity Equity and Inclusion) is a huge portion of business in America and can change lives.

Within the past weeks I have come full circle with connections and strategies in publishing distribution goals, marketing, and building in a scalable direction for not just my business but for many other women in business.

My goal has always been to embrace the next generation, but in order to embrace and build them up we have to build up the people who are raising them. Many children today are being raised by millennial women who strive for more either as a necessity or as a birth right within our generation.

Take a look at some of the key notes below within the books, branding and business categories.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the book world looks a lot like opportunities to grow within the bigger publications. The talent and authors are becoming more and more diverse with diverse stories. The collaborative work between council has increased. The larger component to this is equity in publications. Note that every large organization that includes a DEI clause include the appointed VP of SVP of DEI. Learn more by searching this specifically.
