My goal has always been to embrace the next generation, but in order to embrace and build them up we have to build up the people who are raising them. Many children today are being raised by millennial women who strive for more either as a necessity or as a birth right within our generation.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the book world looks a lot like opportunities to grow within the bigger publications. The talent and authors are becoming more and more diverse with diverse stories. The collaborative work between council has increased. The larger component to this is equity in publications.
