A family ski trip to Vermont’s Mount Snow ❄️

We took a ROADTRIP to Vermont to ski and enjoy fresh snowy powder on the slopes!

The kids and I packed up the car and headed to Vermont to meet friends atMount Snow Resort for the mtski retreat organized by MomTrends .

The thought of skiing and connecting with friends and families on the slopes was super exciting.

We all had different travel experiences, while coming from different locations, and when we all arrived we were ready for fun. Our travel story started with me realizing that I was heading up to Vermont for adventure with 3 kids!

I said “self” you’re going to have a great time and the kids are going to love their first experience on the slopes. HEY, It’s all about Making memories and experiencing new adventures that keep us bonded. I think we all can agree that whether it’s a fun adventure or tackling a task you thought you couldn’t, it’s included in this mom life.

We did some smart packing ; ( Kennedy wanted to record just for the kids who pack themselves up for vacations. ) which also included gear, snacks and good vibes.

The drive up was spectacular and only 4 hours and 15 minutes from NYC. The kids played games and did a little trivia about Vermont for fun.

Did you know that Vermont is the only U.S. state capital without a McDonalds? (V & K were happy with that fact, maybe not so much for Bash. )

Upon arrival to the one of the very first ski resorts on the east coast we couldn’t help but admire the picturesque scenery of the beautiful snow filled trails with people skiing and tubing down the slopes.

We immediately hit the slopes for tubing and couldn’t get enough. From 10 am – 6pm you’re able to fulfill all of your snow tubing dreams while taking a minute or two to warm up by the fire pit in between. This and the “Awesome Snowman” was the highlight for Bash.

Double tubing was a blast for us! We were able to double up and slope down that hill all together.

V & k attending ski school the next morning. They were all geared up and ready to tackle the fresh snow ❄️. Ski school lasted from 9:15 am – 3:30 pm. They worked with an instructor, met new friends and ate lunch together in the cafe. Bash did not attend ski school but had the option of attending cub camp or childcare. Which also provides activities, snacks and supervision all while you’re taking a lift up on the slopes to ski or hitting the resorts spa after a few trails.

There’s diverse entertainment and dining at Mount Snow from day to night. Their new Carinthia parks is super modern and brings so much luxury to the sport.

A few MORE great Ski Tips:

We couldn’t get enough of this family friendly resort. The accommodations, including rooms, common areas (hot tub, pool, game room) and staff were so welcoming. We loved running into our friends on the slopes as well as during dining or just by the fireplace. We cannot wait to visit again to create more lasting memories and laugh out loud moments. From the falls, to the stumbles with pants down and all (yes that happened) we enjoyed it entirely from day to night !
