Train instead of Challenge Week One of 2023

It’s week one of January 2023 and all I can see on my social media, news letter and blog feeds are Challenges.

Some things that have been proven to get you ready for a good year is …

– The 5 people surrounding you rule: Look around to see the 5 people that you spend the most time with. You’re usually reflecting good or bad energy off of each other . I’m hoping that it’s good. It’s never too early to teach the kiddos the same thing. Next is the 6 degrees of separation. So keep the 6 degrees in mind if the 4 out of 5 people closest to you are not the best fit for where you want to go in life. There is a segue to something better if one of the 5 people are connected to a amazing circle based on the 6 degrees of separation. I say this because in the past 7 years I have come to admire Master Mind groups… It’s all about good community and that’s what we’re here for.

– The next training or practice that I myself along with my children do to regulate ourselves and stay focused is getting quiet. It can be very difficult to study, workout, write, or function when there is too much noise and distraction. Sitting still to write down the things you want to do helps. I’ve found that one of my girls finds music to be her meditative space in gaining focus while the other will study and dive into her books. Bash has his own affirmations and then he continues on.

– Those affirmations work wonders!

– If you follow TwinDollicious on social media, you may have noticed the Letter of the day post that appears in my stories at times.

These 2 simple practices have allowed me to focus on something as simple as a letter in order to re-frame my mind, slow down and assess what is the next best thing to do to get me through the day. No, this is not for everyone but I speak mostly to the women, men and parents who juggle it all, live joyfully and want to be as present as present can be in their every day lives.

– Now that 2023 is here, I’m going to upload my vision of where I would love for it to go.. Try this last practice for yourself by adding 2023 to your photo album and uploading your visionary photos and let us know how that feels.
