Today we’re writing on the topic of schools education and learning. We’re touching on this topic because as a mom of two girls in the 3rd grade we are experiencing some high accountability when it comes to testing in NYC.
There are other states besides NYC that test their children out of their current grades. Do we find these tests to be helpful? Do we support a system that tests a child’s knowledge based on pass and fail? Or do we encourage the process of learning new skills and succeeding at systems.
We have learned a lot this year being that it was our first testing year as a family. we’ve gained knowledge through outsourced recommendations and truly appreciate the Revolution Math platform!
